Course Memo
Students will gain the knowledge and skills required for entry-level commercial motor vehicle operation, working to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License. Utilizing hands-on training, students will learn the skills of a professional driver, while continuing under the direct supervision of experienced Driver Trainers. Students will study control systems, shifting, vehicle inspections, backing, docking, safe operating practices, night operations, visual searches, speed management, and space management.
